In addition to the Websites that link to this Policy, this Policy applies to the following:

  1. ConserveMatrimony.com and it's mobile app - a truly halal matrimonial solution to helping practicing Muslims find like-minded partners and to actively help resolve the current "marriage crisis" affecting the ummah today.
  2. Muslimpersonalitymatch.com and it's mobile app, which enables Subscribers to attend a series of simple questions based on their values and everyday behaviors to determine your personality type based on the 'Myers-Briggs Indicator' model – a proven, scientific method which is designed to help you determine compatibility with someone based on the deeper aspects of their behavior.
  3. MuslimMarriageGuide.com and it mobile app - A one-stop platform for Marriage and general educational and awareness related content in the form of articles, videos, podcasts etc.

In this Policy, personal information means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, and online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his/her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. The use of information collected through our Service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the Service for which the Subscribers has engaged.

Our Services may contain links to other websites and the information practices and the content of such other websites are governed by the privacy statements of such other websites. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of any such other websites to understand their information practices.

This Policy includes Account Information (as defined below) and other information we collect in connection with your registration or authentication into our Services (as defined below), security and privacy practices, including how we protect, collect, and use electronic data, text, messages, communications or other materials submitted to and stored within the Services by You (“Service Data”).

3. Information That You Provide To Us

When you register to use Conserve Matrimony's Services, you will be asked for some general identifying information which will enable us to provide you with this customised service. We gather contact information (such as your name, address, phone number, your email address, wali contact details in case of sisters) and demographic information (like your location, city of residence, gender and date of birth). We do not share, rent or sell this information to any third party. If you choose to become a Premium Member, we collect financial information (like your credit card number, billing address, phone number and expiry date). We will only use this information in the course of providing our Services to you, and will not under any circumstances share such information with outside parties.

In certain exceptional cases, If Conserve Matrimony deems it appropriate in its sole discretion, we may also request for a valid proof of identity with or without Photos in them which will be held of a definite period of time till we validate your account.

If you sign-up for a free trial Account, you are not required to enter your credit card information unless and until you decide to continue with a paid subscription to our Services. Third-party intermediaries is used to manage credit card processing. The intermediaries are not permitted to store, retain, or use your billing information for any purpose except for credit card processing on our behalf.

We will only use your financial information in the course of providing our Services to you. The specific financial information we collect is not rented, sold, or shared with any third party, except to the financial institution that processes your transaction or where required by law. Public information will be available for registered members to view. This includes your demographic information such as gender, age, appearance, religion, occupation, and geographical location. You are required to read the Terms & Conditions in order to understand your rights, privileges and obligations whilst using the Conserve Matrimony services as a free or paying member.

We refer to any information described above as “Account Information” for the purposes of this Policy. By voluntarily providing us with Account Information, you represent that you are the owner of such personal data or otherwise have the requisite consent to provide it to us.

Other Submissions:

We ask for and may collect personal information such as name and email address from you when you submit web forms on our helpdesk or lead pages as part of our educational and promotional programs or requesting customer support, or otherwise communicating with us.

Mobile Application:

When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, and operating system version. Some automatically collected information for our mobile applications are as follows :

  • Usage and Log Information. We collect service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our Services, how you interact with others using our Services, and the like), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports.
  • Transactional Information. If you pay for our Services, we may receive information and confirmations, such as payment receipts, including from app stores such as Google Pay and Apple Pay or other third parties processing your payment.
  • Device and Connection Information. We collect device-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, browser information, IP address, mobile network information including phone number, and device identifiers. We collect device location information if you use our location features, such as when you choose to share your location with your contacts, view locations nearby or those others have shared with you, and the like, and for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes such as if you are having trouble with our app’s location features.
  • Status Information. We collect information about your online and last logged in status on www.conservematrimony.com and it's mobile app, such as whether you are online (your “online status”) and when you last logged into your www.conservematrimony.com account or it's mobile app (your “last logged in” status).
4. Information That We Collect From You On Our Websites
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies:

We and our authorized partners may use cookies and other information gathering technologies for a variety of purposes. These technologies may provide us with personal information, information about devices and networks you utilize to access our Websites, and other information regarding your interactions with our Websites. We partner with third parties to either display advertising on the Websites or to manage our advertising on other sites. We also use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile application on your device. This software may record information such as how often you use the mobile application, the events that occur within the mobile application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the mobile application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application.

5. Information Collected From Other Sources
Social Media Widgets:

The Websites include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, and widgets, such as the Share This button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Websites. These features may collect your Internet protocol address, which page you are visiting on the Websites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Websites. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement of the companies that provide them.

Customer Support.

You may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including copies of your messages, and how to contact you so we can provide you customer support via our Helpdesk or Phone calls from the number provided in section 14. For example, you may send us an email with information relating to our website/app performance, be contacted via phone for payment solutions or other issues. These are stored on our third-party services or platforms and you have complete right to have them deleted unless we need to hold it for legal purposes.

Third-Party Service Providers:

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our products and services, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit the Websites and will store this information for the purpose of sending this initial email, tracking the success of our referral program and other marketing activities. TSQ Media is a U.K.-based, global company. We primarily store personal information about Website Visitors and Subscribers within the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), the United States and in other countries and territories. To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer and access such personal information from around the world, including from other countries in which the Conserve Matrimony has operations for the purposes described in this Policy. Whenever Conserve Matrimony shares personal information originating in the European Economic Area (EEA) with a Conserve Matrimony administrator outside the EEA, it will do so on the basis of its approved binding corporate rules known as the Conserve Matrimony Binding Corporate Rules (“Conserve Matrimony’s BCR”) which establish adequate protection of such personal information.

10. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information:

We will retain your personal information for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it at the end of six months, this will be done upon your request for deletion after you have closed or cancelled your account, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store/depersonalize your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

You can always verify or request the removal of the personally identifiable information we have collected and change your registration information by visiting the appropriate subsection of "Edit Profile" To make changes to your profile, suspend your account, or remove your account completely, you may do so at any time by hiding the profile from "Profile options" page. Once the profile is hidden, you will no longer receive any electronic communication from the site (email or SMS), and no members can view your profile information.

Monitoring And Moderating Online Activity

Our members communicate with each other through the onsite mail. In order to ensure that Islamic Principles of modesty are maintained we reserve the right to monitor these messages to see if any of our site terms have been broken. Member submissions that appear on the public area of the site are moderated and, if necessary, we reserve the right to edit, delete, remove or not use any communication on a public area of the site.
